Lansing, MI Medical Waste Disposal. Healthcare Waste Management offers Lansing, MI medical waste disposal services. By owning our own trucks, medical waste treatment plants and employing our own drivers we can provide controlled quality service at economical pricing. One of our favorite pieces of technology we use is the reusable sharps and medical waste containers. Before we started using these we had to throw away a plastic container every time we picked up waste, creating an incredible amount of plastic waste and costing money. Also, our state of the art routing tech helps keep our gasoline use as low as possible further helping the earth and lowering cost at the same time.
In the 1700’s a group of French-Canadian of explorers landing in Lansing, though it was not named or developed until the mid 1800’s. While attempting to figure out what city of Michigan would be the state capital the Michigan House of Representatives actually chose Lansing, which at the time was undeveloped, as a protest against the politicization of this campaign.
By 1859 the town had grown to over 2,000 people, and by 1897 the Olds Motor Vehicle Company opened their factories in Lansing, cementing the city as an industrial hub of Michigan.
Today there are around 120,000 citizens of Lansing and while the Olds Motor Company has since left, General Motors is still the fourth largest employer in the area. The two hospitals in the city, Sparrow Hosptial and McLaren-Greater Lansing Hospital have over 1,000 beds between them. Sparrow is actually the leading hospital in the Michigan area for pediatrics and cancer care.
As the name suggest we are a complete management team of your healthcare medical, biohazard, sharps and other wastes that is regulated. From pickup to destruction, we are the only company that handles your waste
